Personal profile

Research interests

My main research interest is fatigue, both during and after treatment for childhood cancer, its overlap with psychological distress and neurocognition, and the biopsychosocial model of fatigue.

Personal profile

I am a licensed psychologist, specialised in clinical neuropsychology, with extensive clinical experience in assessing cognition in patients diagnosed with neurological disorders such as CNS-tumours or epilepsy. My professional work has included supervision of students and professionals, as well as lecturing and education. I am a qualified teacher at university level and have undergone training in teaching and learning in higher education.

In 2021, I defended my thesis on fatigue in survivors of childhood cancer and shortly afterwards I received a 3-year international post-doc grant from the Swedish Research Council. I have therefore taken a leave of absence from my clinical work in order to conduct a postdoc in the Netherlands. I am working in the IDENTIFY-project, which investigates Quality of Life in childhood cancer.
