Abstract
We feel that, in trained hands, pointofcare ultrasonography by nonradiologists is of value to patient care. However, more extensive ultrasonography, i.e., triage ultrasonography, requires a skill set and a clinical environment that can currently only be provided by radiologists.
Translated title of the contribution | Treating physicians can perform simple ultrasounds: Triage ultrasonography should be reserved for radiologists |
