Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows: • Primary objective: To compare the effectiveness of high dose chemotherapy and autologous bone marrow or stem cell rescue with conventional therapy for children with high risk neuroblastoma. • Secondary objectives: To determine possible effects of these procedures on adverse events and quality of life. To determine toxicities related to the procedure (like venoocclusive disease of the liver) and late effects (like endocrine disorders or secondary malignancies).
