Abstract
Eukaryotic cells have evolved a large variety of chromatin remodeling complexes to control gene expression. In this issue, Chi et al. (2003) define an essential role for the BAF complex during thymocyte development by conditional deletion of one of its components, Brahma-related gene (Brg).
